We’re Hiring here at The Healthcare Hub. The Hub is a concept store that will offer a combination of healthcare services and medically approved retail products including comfort footwear, orthopaedic supports, and other medical supplies.
As a sales assistant here at the Healthcare Hub you will be required to meet the busy and sometimes demanding environment of a retail environment, whilst maintaining a professional approach to customer care. The role will also include communicating with patients, offering any assistance with product requirements, and taking payments.
This is a part-time vacancy working 3.5 hours per day Monday – Friday on a morning or afternoon shift pattern. This role will also include working 3.5 hours every other Saturday morning initially but will be every third once trained.
Your Daily Duties Will Include:
- Providing high-quality customer service and care
- Processing transactions through the till system
- Following and completing store routines as requested by the shop manager
- Dealing with the delivery of stock including moving and unloading boxes
- Stocktaking
- Maintaining the appearance of the shop floor
- Working well as a team member and supporting colleagues when needed
Your Skills:
- A friendly and helpful approach to all customers with a patient manner
- The ability to engage with a wide range of people
- Keep up to date with current products and share this knowledge with customers when required
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales
- Ability to complete tasks in an efficient manner
- Multi-tasking when in a busy environment
- Ability to use own initiative when required
- Competent in using computer-based programs
Full training will be provided for the successful applicant but any previous experience in footwear stores or healthcare environment will be advantageous.
Remuneration: Minimum wage to start but pathway in place for wage increase as abilities improve.
